Explanation:

if the answer choices were 1, 2.5, 4, 4.5, then it is 4.5. To find this answer though, you multiply each value by their probability, so 1 times 1/8, 2 times 1/8, 3 times 1/8, etc and all it all up.

Another way to find the answer is to add up all the values possible, 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8, then divide by the amount of possibilities, in this case 8 because there are 8 sections on the spinner. This also gets you 4.5.

Also the dude saying 2 long distance or whatever is wrong.
