The area of triangle ABC would be =30.4

How to calculate the area of the given triangle?

To calculate the area of the given triangle, the following steps should be taken as follows:

Given that ∆ABC is a equilateral triangle, therefore, line AB = Line BC

Using Pythagorean theorem;

Height = CB²-DB²

= 12²-6²

= 144-36 = 108

h. = √108 = 10.4

The area of the triangle;

= ½base ×height

= ½× 6 × 10.4

= 3×10.4

= 30.4
