I found this bug, size approx 3-5mm crawling on the floor. I've searched for bed bug images but I'm not certain if this is one. This seems to have a separate / longer torso than the ones in the bed bug images I've seen.

Could you please help me identify this bug?

Final answer:

The bug you found crawling on the floor is unlikely to be a bed bug and could be a variety of other small household pests such as dust mites, ticks, or mites. Further information or consultation with a professional is needed for accurate identification.

Step-by-step explanation:

The bug that you found crawling on the floor is unlikely to be a bed bug. Bed bugs are typically smaller in size and have a shorter torso compared to the bug you described. Based on your description, it is difficult to determine the specific type of bug without further information or a clear image. However, it could be a variety of other small household pests such as dust mites, ticks, or mites. To accurately identify the bug, it would be helpful to provide more details or consult with a local pest control professional.
