No point of intersection between by the lines , is infinity.

How the area bounded by the functions is determined.

Given

f(x) = x + 2 and g(x) = x - 4)

points of intersection is found when f(x) = g(x)

x + 2 = x - 4

0 = -6

Slope of the lines is 1

There are no intersection between the lines is infinity.
