Explanation:

Using the method of SOH CAH TOA;

Length of the kite is the hypotenuse = x

If the kite is 10 feet up in the air, then the height = 10feet (opposite)

Angle of elevation = 41 degrees

Sin theta = Opposite/hypotenuse

Sin 41 = 10/x

x = 10/sin41

x = 10/0.6561

x = 15.24 feet

Hence the kite is 15.24feet long
