1. (i) Is 35 a factor of 455?

(iii) Are 5 and 3 factors of 1647?
(v) Are 2, 3, 5, 7 and 11 factors of 4620?​

Answer:

(i) Yes. If you divide it, it gives 13.

(iii) 3 is a factor of 1647 but 5 isn't. If you divide it with 3 first, it gives 549. But if you divide it with 5, it gives 329.4

(v) 2, 3, 5, 7 and 11 are factors of 4620. If you divide it with 2, it gives 2310. If you divide it with 3, it gives 1540. If you divide it with 5, it gives 924. If you divide it with 7, it gives 660. If you divide it with 11, it gives 420.

Example:

Find factors of 12

1 x 12 = 12

2 x 6 = 12

3 x 4 = 12

So. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12 are factors of 12 basically.
