An object of mass 5kg moving with a velocity of 6m/s collides with another object of mass 3kg moving with a velocity of 4 m/s. After collision both bodies stuck together and move with a common velocity. Find the velocity?

(5 × 6) + (3 × 4) = 5V + 3V

30 + 12 = 8V

42 = 8V

V = 5.25m/s

Answer : 5.25m/s

p = momentum

u = velocity/speed before collision

v = velocity after collision

m = maas
