can help me any one . If ₹640 is divided between Bishu and Arpana in the ratio of 5 : 3 , lets find how many each would get.​

first find the total = 5+3=8

now 5/8×640 =5×80 = 400 rupees

3/8×640 =3×80 = 240 rupees

so Bishu gets 400 rupees and Arpana gets 240 rupees.
