You can change the + - into a -,

you are basically figuring out: -9 - 3

which is -12!

Put that number as the numerator and 14 as a denominator

You get - 12 / 14, but you can still simplify it!

divide both of the numbers by 2...

So you end up getting:
-(6)/(7)
