volume of a cylinder (assuming the can is a perfect cylinder)


\pi \: {r}^(2) h

r = 1/2 x 3.6 = 1.8

1.8^2 = 3.24

3.24 x 8.8 x 3.14 = 89.52768 in^3 = 90 in^3 (1 sig. fig)

this is about 50 fluid ounces
