slope (m) = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

= (-4 - 1 )/(2- -3 )

= -5/5 = -1

slope intercept form

y = mx + b

y = -x + b

from points given (2 ,-4)

x = 2 , y= -4

-4 = -2 +b

b = -2

y = -x -2
