Area of Q

  • πr²/4
  • π(20)²/4
  • 100π cm²

Now

  • 4(Area of P)=100π
  • 4πr²=100π
  • 4r²=100
  • r²=25
  • r=5cm

Answer:

  • 5 cm

Explanation:

Area of circle P with radius r:

  • A = πr²

Area of quarter circle Q with radius 20 cm:

  • A = 1/4π*20² = 100π

Area of Q is 4 times the area of P:

  • 4*πr² = 100π
  • r² = 25
  • r = √25
  • r = 5 cm
