Back Knowledge: Being proportional is basically being an equivalent ratio.

#1: Think of the ratio being 3:7 (x,y)

#2: Since y is 28 which is the 7 in the ratio we need to think about how we can get it to 28. -> (7 x 4 = 28)

#3: Now if we do something to one side we need to do it to the other.

Since we multiplied 27 by 4 we need to multiply 3 by 4. :)

All Steps: (3:7) -> (3:28) -> (12:28)
