Where M(n) is the area coverede by the mold, in square feet, and n is the time in moths the mold has been growing on the wall

C) Now, we know that the mold has to cover 240 square feet


240=2^n

Solving for n,


\begin{gathered} 240=2^n\rightarrow n=\log _2240 \\ \Rightarrow n=7.9 \end{gathered}

we get that it would take the mold 7.9 months to cover the wall.
