Lionel is building a tree house. the materials list tells the length of the floor boards tat are needed. which would be the best unit of measure to describe the length of te floor boards

But for a tree house my guess is that the floor boards are in metre

My reason is because the height of a person is metres perharps inches or cm but for ease of measurement steel tapes graduated in meter can be used to measure the floor boards
