By Trigonometrical Ratios, we have,

Where in the case at hand,

To find the value of x in the given problem,

Taking 25 degrees as our angle of interest, we have,


\begin{gathered} \cos 25=(Adj)/(Hyp)=(x)/(11) \\ \\ \cos 25=(x)/(11) \\ \text{Cross multiplying, we get} \\ x=11\cos 25 \end{gathered}

One of the required expressions is:


x=11\cos 25^o

Similarly, taking 65 degrees as the angle of interest, we have


\begin{gathered} \sin 65=(opp)/(Hyp)=(x)/(11) \\ \\ \sin 65=(x)/(11) \\ \text{Cross multiplying, we get} \\ x=11\sin 65 \end{gathered}

The other required expression for finding x is:
