The balanced redox equation is
3Ca + 2Al^(3+) --- > 3Ca^(2+) + 2Al

Electrons are transferred between reactants in a redox (reduction-oxidation) reaction. One substance experiences oxidation (losing electrons) and another undergoes reduction (gaining electrons) in a redox reaction. The charge conservation is preserved throughout the entire process.

The general form of a redox reaction equation is: Reactants ---> Products

We know that there are six electrons that are lost/gained in the process and this would lead us to the equation;
3Ca + 2Al^(3+) --- > 3Ca^(2+) + 2Al
