smith has a garden with 40 carrots in it. They pick some carrots to feed their pet rabbit, leaving 90% of the carrots in the garden. How many carrots does Smith have left in the garden?

90 divided by 40 and the equals 2.25 so it would be 2.25%

Answer:

if you do 40×90% (0.90) = 36 carrots left in the garden.
