Increase implies addition

So, " increased by" implies 9t² +

sum means addition

"the sum of the square of t and 2" can be written as (t+2)²

Hence the whole verbal expression can be written as;

9t² + (t+2)²

The equation can be further simplified to;

9t² + t² + 2t + 4

10t²+ 2t +4
