we’re trying to find how much each person payed so we have to start by dividing.

-124.32 divided by 12 = 10.36

to find out if it is correct we can multiply 10.36 by how many people are paying.

-10.36 times 12 = 124.32

after multiplying we get the cost of tickets and snacks wich makes it correct.
