In the image we can see that:

  • Lines c and a are transversal.
  • Lines c and b are transversal.

Which lines are transversal?

Two lines are transversal if the lines intercept and the angles formed are not of 90°.

Two lines are perpendicular if the angles formed are of 90°.

Two lines are parallel if never intercept.

In the given diagram we can see that a and b are parallel lines, because they never intercept.

But we can see that

Line c intercepts a.

Line c intercepts b.

So:

Lines c and a are transversal.

Lines c and b are transversal.
