Giving the circle with 2 radius

Radius 1= 12

Radius 2=10

this figure is also known as a ring

the area of the ring is given by

A=\pi r1^2-\pi r2^2

this is just the difference of the area of the bigger circle less the smaller circle

then

A=\pi(r1^2-r2^2)
A=\pi(12^2-10^2)
A=\pi(44)
A=44\pi=138.230
