The meaning of 1/2 of 10 is actually 1/2 times (x) 10 which is I cancel 2 and 10 because 10 can be divided by 2 so it will be 5. Then, the 2 will become 1 since u have divide it with 10. Lastly, u times the 5 with 1 and u will have you answer which is 5. Hope you can understand what I'm explaining.
