Answer:

you have to use the formula of a line passing through a point, so: y-y0=m(x-x0)

We also know that m=8, because it is parallel to the line y=(8=m)x -1

so: y-2=8(x+6)

and you solve it, so:

y-2=8x+48

y=8x+48+2

y=8x+50
