the angle = x - 2

supplementary angles , sum to 180°

sum the 2 angles, equate to 180 and solve for x

x + x - 2 = 180

2x - 2 = 180 ( add 2 to both sides )

2x = 182 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 91

x - 2 = 91 - 2 = 89

the measure of the 2 angles is 89° and 91°
