What is the value of the expression (-1/3) ÷(2/5)

-5/6.

Explanation:

(-1/3) / (2/5)

WE invert the dividing fraction and multiply:-

= -1/3 * 5/2

= (-1*5) / (3*2)

= -5/6.

-1/3 divided by 2/5 would be -5/6

this is because we would do keep change flip (-1/3 MULTIPLIED by 5/2) and multiply across, giving us 5/6.
