Given

the number of group of purple as x

the number of group of red as y

The sum total of the flowers in group of 1 will be x+y

Since we are to find the total number of flowers she will have in group of 6, we will multiply the sum of the flower by 6 as shown;

6(x+y)

Open the parenthesis

= 6(x)+6(y)

= 6x+6y

The correct option is B
