The graph of the linear equation is in the image at the end.

How to graph the linear equation?

Here we want to graph the linear equation:

x + 2y = -1

To do so, we need to find two points that are solutions to the equation, to find the points, just evaluate the equation.

when x = 0 we have:

0 + 2y = -1

y = -1/2

When y = 0

x + 2*0 = -1

x = -1

So we have the points (0, -1/2) and (-1, 0). Now plot these two points in a coordinate axis and connect them with a line.

The graph of the linear equation is in the image at the end.
