gradient = 4

Slope for Perpendicular = -1/4

Slope for Parallel = 4

Equation of perpendicular line:


\begin{gathered} y-4=-(1)/(4)(x-6) \\ \\ 4y-16=-x+6 \\ \\ 4y+x=22 \end{gathered}

Equation of parallel line:


\begin{gathered} y-4=4(x-6) \\ \\ y-4=4x-24 \\ \\ y=4x-20 \end{gathered}
