Suppose you know that ∠S and ∠Y are complementary, and that m∠S = 2(m∠Y) − 75°. Find m∠Y.

m∠s + m∠y = 90

m∠s = 90 - m∠y

m∠s= 2(m∠y) - 75

90 - m∠y = 2 m∠y -75

90 + 75 = 3 (m∠y)

165 = 3 (m∠y)

55= m∠y
