An easy way to do 4x25 is by adding 25 and 25 once which equals 100. Now we calculate the dimes. Since 1 dime = 10 cents, we do 10x2 because we have 2 dimes. 10x2=20 cents. After that we add 100 and 20 which equals 120. Since 100 cents = $1 the money amount will be written like $1.20. Lastly we subtract 0.75 from 1.20 which equals 45 cents. So mike has 45 cents left.
