Y=-3x+11

Y=mx+c(m is slope, c the y intercept )
E=-3
11=c
Y=-3x+11

Answer:

y = - 3x + 11

Explanation:

the equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope ( gradient ) and c the y- intercept )

here m = - 3 , then

y = - 3x + c ← is the partial equation

to find c substitute (2, 5 ) into the partial equation

5 = - 3(2) + c = - 6 + c ( add 6 to both sides )

11 = c

y = - 3x + 11 ← equation of line
