Answer: 5

Explanation:

Using the law of similar triangles,

x/x-2 = x+(x+5)/x+1+x-2

x/x-2 = 2x+5/2x-1

x(2x-1) = x-2(2x+5)

2x²-x = 2x²+x-10

2x²-2x² + x +x -10 = 0

2x-10 = 0

2x = 10

x = 5
