Answer is 12 trees

Explanation:
1 ton of the same kind of newspaper needs about 12 trees to create it. 1 ream of paper (500 sheets, not recycled and newly made) uses approximately 6 percent of a tree. But, a ton of coated, paper, like the pages that are used for magazines, needs over 15 trees to produce!
