Which of the following three side lengths form a right triangle?

Answer: 14,48,50

Explanation:

We can use the pythagorean theorem on right triangles

Take the 2 smaller values and put them into the theorem

The theorem is a^2+b^2=c^2 or a squared plus b squared equals c squared

Start by inserting values

3^2+5^2=6^2

9+25=36 is false

Next Value

9^2+12^2=13^2

81+144=169? certainly not!

Third Value

14^2+48^2=50^2

196+2304=2500? Looks right to me!
