We want to calculate the sign of the following expression

p\cdot(q)/(p)

Note that we are multiplying by p and dividing by p. Since p>0, we can cancel the multiplication and division, so we get

p\cdot(q)/(p)=q

Then the sign of p*q/p is simply the sign of q.

In this case, q=9, so the sign of the given expression is the sign of 9. The number 9 is positive, so the expression has a possitve sign.
