The sum of all the angles of triangle is 180°

We have the following angles:

  • 70°
  • 90°
  • 2x+6

The sum of all these angles will be equal to 180°

\sf \: 70 + 90 + 2x + 6 = 180

  • Add all the constants

\sf166 + 2x = 180

  • Move the constant to the right hand side and change its sign

\sf2x = 180 - 166

  • Subtract the numbers

\sf2x = 14

  • Divide both sides by 2

\sf2x / 2 = 14 / 2

\boxed{ \tt \: x = 7}

Now,

The given angle is 2x+6, So put the value of x in this and find the value of angle

  • 2x+6
  • 2×7+6
  • 14+6
  • 20°
