6(x+2) because 14x-8x equals 6x and 13-1 is 12. This simplifies to 6x+12. Then you take the greatest common factor from this expression (which would be 6 in this situation) so it would be 6(x+2)

Answer: 6(x+2)

Explanation:

First simplify by combining like terms:

6x+12

Next factor:

Notice how both 6x and 12 can come out evenly if divided by 6. 6x divided by 6 would be x and 12 divided by 6 would be 2.

Using distributive property, you could just take a 6 out (which is factoring):

6(x+2)

Have a wonderful day :)
