= 8/12

Now you divide 60 by 12 to find the amount to make the denominator 60

60 divided by 12 = 5

8/12 multiply both numerator and denominator by 5

She gave 40 away so she has 20 left (60 - 40 = 20)

Now make 3/4 numerator and denominator by equal to 20

Multiply them by 5
