\begin{gathered} 1\text{box}=10\text{paper clip} \\ \text{but she has 80 boxes} \\ 1\text{box}=10\text{paper clip} \\ 80\text{boxes}=\text{x paper clip} \\ \text{cross multiply both sides and solve for x} \\ 1* x=80*10 \\ x=800 \end{gathered}

there are 800 paper clips in 80 boxes
