For RIGHT triangles, remember

cos (angle ) = adjacent leg / hypotenuse

cos ( angle ) = 5 /12

angle = arccos( 5/12) = 65 °

You could also use pythagorean theorem to calculate the misssing side....then use cos law to calculate the angle.
