Answer is 490
We know 80% of a number (n) = 560
80% = .80
.80n = 560
Divide both sides by .80 to solve for n
.80/.80 n = 560/.80
n = 700
So our number is 700
Now we want to know 70% of that number
70% of (multiply) 700
.70 x 700 = 490

100%=700
So the number is 700
Now, 70% of 700 is 490
