I say that A best represents the equation.

The reason I say this is because the equation (y= x + 15) can be explained like this.

y= Total amount of candy (in this case since it's based on A)

x= Amount found (normally would be called earned)

15= starting amount (aka initial value)

So since each student started with 15 you would add that on to X= the total amount found. Then after that the total value (y) would have been represented by the equation X + 15.

All in all A best represents the equation Y= X + 15.
