First we start using ratio form to write down the thing we know

\begin{gathered} \text{men:women} \\ 8\colon5 \\ 128\colon x \end{gathered}

now, using the rule of three we have

\begin{gathered} x=(128\cdot5)/(8) \\ =(640)/(8) \\ =80 \end{gathered}

Then, we have 80 women working for the company.

Adding the number of men and women, we conclude that there are 208 employess in the company.
