Domain

Domain is the set of all x values which result in real and defined values for y

Range

Range is the set of y values that are possible from the values of x in the domain

Both are expressed in the form {min-value, max-value}

For x we see the minimum is -3 and maximum is 6

So domain = {-3, 6}

For y values we see the minimum is 7 and maximum is 12

So range = {7, 12}

A function can have only one output(y) for a specific input(x)

Here we see that for different values of x, x = 4 and x = -3, we get the same y-value

Hence it is not a function
