the expression for a proportional relationship is,

y=kx

here, k = proportionality constant

we will put the value of x and y corresponding to each other from the table

for (3,18)

\begin{gathered} 18=k*3 \\ k=(18)/(3) \\ k=6 \end{gathered}

for (6,36)

\begin{gathered} 36=k*6 \\ k=(36)/(6) \\ k=6 \end{gathered}

thus the given table is the table of a proportional function

and the constant of proportionality is 6
