Let M be the amount of money Melissa has, J be the amount of money Josh has, and P be the amount of money Pablo has. We can set up the following equation:

M + J + P = $66

P = 3J

J = M + $9

Substituting the second equation into the third equation, we get:

J = M + $9

3J = 3(M + $9)

3M + 3*$9 = 3J

3M + 3*$9 = 3(M + $9)

3M + 3*$9 = 3M + $27

$27 - $27 = 3M - 3M

0 = 0

Since 0 = 0, the equation holds true for any values of M, J, and P as long as they add up to $66. Therefore, there is not enough information to determine how much money Melissa, Josh, and Pablo have in their wallets.
