for the first table
consider A(x1,y1)=A(0;3) and B(x2;y2)=B(1;5)

the slope m= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (5-3)/(1-0) = 2/1=2

for the second table
consider again A(x1;y1)=A( 0;9) and B(x2;y2)=B(2;4)

the slope m= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)= (4-9)/(2-0)= -5/2= -2.5
