so 65% off means find 65 percent of orignal price and subtract from original price
percent means parts out of 100 so
65%=65/100
'of' means multiply
65% of 549=65/100 times 540=35100/100=351/1=351
351 is disctount
subtract
549-351=198
answer is $198=sale price
