we need to know

(-7,2)= (x1,y1)

(5,-6)=(x2,y2)

the midpoint formula is

x_m=(x_1+x_2)/(2)=(-7+5)/(2)=(-2)/(2)_{}=1
y_m=(y_1+y_2)/(2)=(2-6)/(2)=(-4)/(2)_{}=2

M=(1,-2)
